City Hall

The city of Leuven offers a welcome reception at City Hall.The town hall is conviently located in the city centre.The reception will be in the main entrance room, the Foyer. This spacious hall of 25x10m is decorated with seven flags of the nobility of Leuven. It has a stage with a speakers desk.The Foyer has a capacity of 200 people for a receptionat high tables. We will provide a variety of local beers, soda, crisps and serving staff.The front of the Town Hall will be the perfect backgroundfor a group photo of your faculty, creating a great memento.

Faculty Club is a meeting venue and restaurant in the restored buildings of Leuven’s Great Beguinage. Since the year 2000, the Great Beguinage has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Faculty Club welcomes its guests in a centuries-old historical setting: in the Infirmary of the Great Beguinage, which dates back to the 13th century and was renovated in the 1 6th and 17th centuries, Faculty Club is a prime location for meetings, celebrations and gastronomic pleasures.

From April to the end of September you can enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of the Great Beguinage on the beautiful garden terrace.

Guided city tour through Leuven
Leuven is the beer and research mecca, but there is so much more to see and experience. Let the Leuven city guides take you in tow to the magnificent City Hall, the romantic Grand Beguinage, the Old Market with Europe’s longest bar, the St Peter’s Church and much more. The tour will be accompanied by some tastings.

AB Inbev brewery tour
Leuven has been the hometown of the Stella Artois brewery since 1366. The brewery offers a guided tour, which allows you to discover the brewing process and the history of the brewery. End the tour with a draught course and beer tasting.

University library tour an tower visit
Climb the tower of the imposing University Library and reward yourself with a magnificent view over Leuven. Visit the Library Great Reading room and listen to the sounds of the carillon.
